Although Tejpat (Cinnamomum tamala) is not native to Chhattisgarh but the natives use its leaves as condiment. The senior natives of Durg region informed me that its dry leaf powder is a boon for the patients having the problem of Diabetes. Dry leaf powder is simply given with lukewarm water as remedy.
