A close view to traditional drink Sulfi prepared from Caryota urens in Bastar region of India. Sulfi is very popular among the tribals. According to the traditional healers of Bastar region the use of freshly collected Sulfi is having many health benefits. The natives consume it during festive occassions. It is popular among the tourist as Bastar Beer. In Bastar due to unknown disease Sulfi plants are dieing. Its population has decreased much in last ten years.
