Although Modern literature gives information about only one type of Akarkara and its use as medicine but in Traditional Healing of India many types of Akarkara are raised with the help of Traditional Allelopathic Knowledge and used in combination of potential medicinal species. Unfortunately not much work has been done on Allelopathically enriched Akarkara by modern researchers. Pankaj Oudhia has documented these formulations in its original form.
