स्वाइन फ्लू: नाक और मुँह बन्द रखे पर दिमाग खुला

“लगातार उल्टियाँ हो रही है। बच्चे की हालत बहुत खराब हो रही है। हमने तो जैसा बताया गया था वैसे ही काढा लिया था। गिलोय भी नर्सरी वाले से लिया था। क्या आप कुछ मदद कर सकते है?“आज सुबह मुम्बई से आये एक फोन मे यह घबरायी हुयी आवाज सुनायी दी। मैने उन्हे जवाब दिया कि गिलोय के प्रयोग से ऐसा होना तो नही चाहिये। आप बच्चे को अस्पताल ले जाये और सारी बाते साफ-साफ चिकित्सक को बता दे। यदि सम्भव हो तो जिस गिलोय का काढा आपने बनाया था उसकी तस्वीर मुझे भेज दे ताकि मै यह सुनिश्चित कर सकूँ कि आपने सही वनस्पति का इस्तमाल किया था। फोन करने वाले सज्जन ने आनन-फानन मे तस्वीरे ई-मेल कर दी। मैने तस्वीर ध्यान से देखी तो सारा माजरा समझ मे आ गया। नर्सरी वाले ने गिलोय का तना देने की बजाय जड दे दी थी। जड का रस या काढा लेने से तुरंत उल्टियाँ शुरु हो जाती है और जब तक विष शरीर से बाहर नही निकल जाता उल्टियाँ होती रहती है। वे सज्जन यदि पारम्परिक चिकित्सको के पास होते तो वे रीठा पानी पीने को देते। तुरंत शरीर की सफाई हो जाती। मैने उन्हे बताया कि गिलोय की जड से बना काढा फेंक दे और किसी विशेषज्ञ के मार्गदर्शन मे ही गिलोय के तने का प्रयोग करे।

उन्होने अखबार की एक कतरन भेजी जिसमे बाबा रामदेव ने गिलोय के तने और तुलसी के प्रयोग से बने काढे के प्रयोग से स्वाइन फ्लू से बचाव के सुझाव दिये थे। कतरन मे कही नही लिखा था कि इसकी जड का इस्तमाल करे। साफ-साफ तने के प्रयोग की बात लिखी हुयी थी। मुम्बई वाले सज्जन ने बताया कि गिलोय का नाम सामने आते ही इसके लिये मारामारी मच गयी है। नर्सरी वालो की तो जैसे बन आयी है। वे मुँहमाँगे दाम पर इसे बेच रहे है। यह धन का ही लोभ था जो उसने तने की जगह विषैली जड बेच दी। अब आम आदमी भला क्या जाने कि किससे नुकसान है और किससे नही?

इंटरनेट पर मेरे गिलोय पर लिखे गये डेढ सौ से अधिक शोध दस्तावेज उपलब्ध है। पिछले कुछ दिनो से दुनिया भर से हजारो की संख्या मे लोग इन दस्तावेजो तक पहुँच रहे है। स्वाइन फ्लू से सुरक्षा के लिये गिलोय कारगर है, यह तो अखबारो मे छपा है पर इसकी पहचान क्या है? कैसे प्रयोग करना है? क्या छोटे बच्चे और बुजुर्ग दोनो के लिये एक ही मात्रा अनुमोदित है? क्या गर्भवती महिलाए इसे ले सकती है? कौन सी औषधीयाँ गिलोय के साथ लेनी है? कौन सी औषधीयाँ गिलोय के साथ नही लेनी है? क्या अंग्रेजी दवाओ के साथ इसे लिया जा सकता है? किन लोगो को रोग विशेष मे इसका प्रयोग नही करना चाहिये? आदि-आदि जानकारियाँ अखबारो मे नही छपी है। बाबा रामदेव ने निश्चय ही अच्छे मन से ये वनस्पतियाँ सुझायी होंगी पर इस अल्प जानकारी से आम लोगो मे भ्रम की स्थिति निर्मित हो गयी है। आज शाम तक मेरे पास गिलोय के तीस नमूने आये है सही पहचान के लिये। इनमे से पच्चीस सही है पर पाँच दूसरी वनस्पतियो के तने है। आम लोगो को ठगे जाने की बू आ रही है। देश भर मे जाने क्या हो रहा होगा? आम लोग “मरता क्या न करता” की तर्ज पर गिलोय की खोज मे लगे है।

13 जून, 2009 को जब स्वाइन फ्लू का कहर मेक्सिको मे मचा हुआ था तब मैने पारम्परिक चिकित्सकीय ज्ञान के आधार पर एक शोध आलेख लिखा था। यह आलेख गूगल नाल (Knol) मे प्रकाशित हुआ था। यदि आप इंटरनेट का प्रयोग करते है तो इस कडी पर जाकर अब भी इस आलेख को पढ सकते है।

इसमे पारम्परिक चिकित्सकीय ज्ञान के आधार पर सात दिनो तक जडी-बूटियो के साधारण प्रयोग सुझाये गये थे। जडी-बूटियो के बाहरी और आँतरिक प्रयोग दोनो थे। इसमे स्थानीय जडी-बूटियो का प्रयोग वर्णित था। जिन जडी-बूटियो के विषय मे जानकारी दी गयी थी उनमे तुलसी और गिलोय का प्रयोग भी शामिल था। पर केवल तुलसी और गिलोय का प्रयोग ही नही था। साथ मे दसो सहज उपलब्ध जडी-बूटियाँ थी। इन जडी-बूटियो के नाम कूट शब्दो मे लिखे गये थे कि दुनिया के दूसरे देश इसका गलत उपयोग न कर सके। इस आलेख मे यह स्पष्ट लिखा था कि यदि भारतीय वैज्ञानिक इस पर प्रयोग करने सामने आते है तो मै उन्हे सारी जानकारी देने तत्पर हूँ। पर दुख इस बात का है कि दुनिया भर के वैज्ञानिको ने कूट शब्दो को जानने के लिये ऐडी चोटी का जोर लगा दिया पर एक भी भारतीय वैज्ञानिक का सन्देश नही आया।

पीढीयो से नाना प्रकार के रोगो की चिकित्सा कर रहे पारम्परिक चिकित्सक जानते है कि गिलोय के तने के एकत्रण की एक विशेष अवस्था होती है। यदि कम उम्र के तने का प्रयोग किया जाये तो कैसे लाभ के स्थान पर हानि हो सकती है। फिर गिलोय से बने काढे मे हमेशा सेन्धानमक के प्रयोग की सलाह दी जाती है। पारम्परिक चिकित्सक कहते है कि सेन्धानमक गिलोय के दोषो को दूर कर देता है। गिलोय की तासिर गर्म होती है। कम जीवनी शक्ति वाले रोगियो को बहुत बार पारम्परिक चिकित्सक सावधानी से इसके प्रयोग की सलाह देते है। प्राचीन भारतीय ग्रंथो मे गिलोय के विषय मे काफी विस्तार से जानकारी मिलती है पर इसके विषय ज्यादातर ज्ञान अब भी पारम्परिक चिकित्सको के पास है और दस्तावेजीकरण की बाट जोह रहा है। मुझे लगता है है कि गिलोय के बारे आम सूचना जारी करने की बजाय उसके सभी पहलुओ के विषय मे विस्तार से बताने के बाद ही इसके सार्वजनिक प्रयोग का अनुमोदन करना चाहिये था। इससे भी अच्छा यह होता कि देश मे अपनी सेवा दे रहे असंख्य आयुर्वेद चिकित्सको और स्वास्थ्य कार्यकर्ताओ के माध्यम से गिलोय और तुलसी का काढा दिया जाता ताकि आम लोग ठगी और स्व-चिकित्सा के अभिशाप से बच पाते। अब खबरे आ रही है कि दिल्ली और दूसरे भागो मे गिलोय का सार्वजनिक वितरण किया जा रहा है। कही अच्छे उद्देश्य से दी गयी यह सलाह ऐसे गलत कदमो से पहले से परेशान आम लोगो को और परेशान न कर दे।

वैसे तो शरीर की प्रतिरोधक शक्ति बढाने के लिये पारम्परिक चिकित्सक गिलोय के साथ त्रिफला के काढे के प्रयोग की सलाह देते है पर गिलोय की तुलना मे वे त्रिफला को अधिक कारगर मानते है। छत्तीसगढ के जंगलो से प्रतिवर्ष टनो आँवला, हर्रा और बहरा का एकत्रण होता है। इन तीनो फलो से त्रिफला बनाया जाता है। त्रिफला रसायन है और त्रिदोषनाशक है। गिलोय की तरह इसमे सीमाए और बन्धन नही है। त्रिफला सर्वत्र सुलभ है। मुझे आश्चर्य होता है क्यो त्रिफला आज अनुमोदित जडी-बूटियो की सूची से नदारद है? छत्तीसगढ और देश के दूसरे वनीय भागो मे असंख्य जडी-बूटियाँ है। इनके मिश्रण से असंख्य नुस्खे बनते रहे है। स्वाइन फ्लू के लिये एक नही ढेरो नुस्खे कारगर हो सकते है। फिर करोडो के इस देश मे एक ही नुस्खे को इतनी महत्ता किस लिये?

मेरे एक वन अधिकारी मित्र चिंतित होकर कहते है कि अब गिलोय की शामत आ गयी है। एक फीट लम्बे तने के लिये लोग पूरा पौधा नष्ट कर रहे है। कही ऐसा न हो कि इस मारामारी मे न स्वाइन फ्लू से रक्षा हो पाये और न ही गिलोय बच पाये। जिस मात्रा मे आज गिलोय का एकत्रण उन्होने जंगल मे देखा उससे उन्हे लग रहा था कि कही शीघ्र ही यह विलुप्तप्राय वनस्पति की सूची मे शामिल न हो जाये।

पुणे से मेरे एक वैज्ञानिक मित्र कहते है कि उन्हे जडी-बूटियो पर विश्वास नही है। अब आधुनिक चिकित्सा विज्ञान के पास तो इसका इलाज है नही अभी तक। वे डरे हुये है पर फिर भी जडी-बूटियाँ नही लेना चाहते। वे मुझसे एकदम सरल उपाय की अपेक्षा करते है। वे मास्क पहनते है। उनका सारा शहर आजकल इसे धारण किये हुये है। मैने उन्हे एक सरल उपाय बता दिया। यह भारतीय योग से जुडा हुआ है। यह सरल प्रयोग है जलनेती। नमक मिला गुनगुना पानी लीजिये और नेती के लिये उपलब्ध विशेष पात्र की सहायता से एक नाक से जल डालकर दूसरी नाक से निकाल ले। सारा संक्रमण एक बार मे साफ हो जायेगा। जलनेती आप दिन मे कई बार कर सकते है। किसी तरह का नुकसान नही है। यह मै दावे से कह सकता हूँ कि बचाव मे यह मास्क की तुलना मे लाख गुना बेहतर है। प्राचीन भारतीय ग्रंथो मे कई प्रकार की नेती वर्णित है पर पारम्परिक चिकित्सक इससे मिलती-जुलती प्रक्रिया अपनाते है और जल के साथ जडी-बूटियो का प्रयोग करते है। मैने पुणे के वैज्ञानिक मित्र से कहा है कि आप जलनेती करे और मुझे बताये ताकि आने वाले समय मे मै आपको इसके उन्नत प्रयोग की सलाह दे सकूँ। यदि मेरे मन की बात पूछे तो मै जलनेती के प्रयोग की सलाह हमारे योग गुरु देंगे, ऐसा सोच रहा था। पर इस बारे मे जानकारी अखबारो से गायब है। इस पर मेरे एक मित्र खरे शब्दो मे कहते है कि गिलोय से करोडो का बाजार जुडा हुआ है, भला सस्ती जलनेती के प्रचार से किसको आर्थिक लाभ होगा?

अखबारो से मुझे जानकारी मिली है कि छत्तीसगढ मे स्वाइन फ्लू पर एक सरकारी प्रकोष्ठ बना है जो स्थिति पर निगरानी रखे हुये है। पर मुझे उस जानकारी की प्रतीक्षा है जिसमे राज्य मे पारम्परिक चिकित्सा से जुडे लोगो से सरकार ने सलाह ली हो। मुझे विश्वास है कि स्वाइन फ्लू से बचाव और इसकी चिकित्सा मे छत्तीसगढ विश्व का नेतृत्व कर सकता है। छत्तीसगढ मे पारम्परिक चिकित्सकीय ज्ञान पर आज करोडो पन्नो के दस्तावेज तैयार है। इन दस्तावेजो के सामने प्राचीन चिकित्सा ग्रंथ बौने लगते है। यह हमारा सौभाग्य है कि राज्य का मुखिया स्वयम आयुर्वेद चिकित्सक है। फिर देर किस बात की है? सरकार यदि चाहे तो राज्य के जंगलो मे उग रही वनस्पतियो और इनसे सम्बन्धित पारम्परिक ज्ञान के प्रयोग को आधुनिक विज्ञान की कसौटी मे कसने का प्रयास आरम्भ कर सकती है ताकि पीढीयो से असंख्य जीवन बचा रहा यह ज्ञान आधुनिक समाज के भी काम आ सके। अब समय आ गया है कि पारम्परिक और आधुनिक चिकित्सा से जुडे राज्य के सभी लोग एक मंच पर आये और छत्तीसगढ को विश्व नेतृत्व के लिये तैयार करे।
