| Charota leaves. Charota grows as wasteland weed in Indian State Chhattisgarh. New leaves are popularly used as curry. The curry is still much popular in rural and forest regions of Chhattisgarh. The natives of different regions prepare it by using different regions. Only new leaves are used. The natives consume it for taste but the traditional healers are aware of its health benefits.This curry is considered boon for the patients having rheumatic troubles. It is used both curative and preventive to such troubles. Curry is consumed in little amount as larger amount may lead to the loose motion.
