औषधीय फसल कस्तूरी भिण्डी (एबेलमॉस्कस मॉस्केटस) की वर्तमान दशा और दिशा: मेरे अनुभव पंकज अवधिया , वनौषधी विशेषज्ञ , 28- अ ,  गीता नगर ,  रायपुर  ( छत्तीसगढ़)            हम सभी जानते   हैं कि कस्तूरी हिमालय में पाये जाने वाले एक विशेष प्रकार के हिरण की नाभि से   प्राप्त होती है। कस्तूरी का प्रयोग आदि काल से बतौर औषधि और इत्रा में होता रहा   है। सारी दुनिया इसकी खुशबू की दिवानी है। इस दिवानेपन के कारण जब इस कस्तूरी की   प्राप्ति के लिए इन हिरणों का बड़े पैमाने पर शिकार आरंभ हुआ तो उनकी संख्या घटने   लगी। आज ये विलुप्तता के कगार पर खड़े हैं। अब इनसे कस्तूरी के एकत्रण पर प्रतिबंध   लग गया है। यद्यपि इन हिरणों के संरक्षण और संवर्धन के प्रयास किये जा रहे हैं पर   ये उतने सफल नहीं है। जब भी इस तरह मूल औषधीयों की कमी पड़ती हैं तो बाजार रूकता   नहीं है और जल्दी ही इनके विकल्पों की खोज आरंभ हो जाती है। यूं तो वैज्ञानिकों और   उद्यमियों ने बहुत से पौधों में कस्तूरी की गंध प्...

औषधीय फसल बच (एकोरस कैलामस) की   वर्तमान दशा और दिशा- मेरे अनुभव पंकज अवधिया , वनौषधी विशेषज्ञ , रायपुर (छत्तीसगढ़)            नवगठित राज्य   छत्तीसगढ़ में धान की खेती से लगातार हो रहे नुकसान को देखते हुए जब विषय विशेषज्ञों   और कृषि वैज्ञानिकों ने बतौर विकल्प नई फसलों की खोज प्रारंभ की तो उन्हें अधिक लाभ   देने वाली बहुत सी फसलों के विषय में जानकारियाँ मिली। इसमें से अधिकतर फसल धान के   खेतों में नहीं लगाई जा सकती थी। जिसके कारण इन नयी फसलों को अपनाने के लिए धान के   खेतों को नये रूप में परिवर्तित करने की आवश्यकता थी। किसान इसके लिए कतई तैयार   नहीं थे। ऐसे विकट समय से राज्य के एक प्रगतीशील किसान श्री दीन दयाल वर्मा ने उम्मीद की नई किरण दिखाई। श्री वर्मा काफी लंबे समय से नाना प्रकार की औषधीय एवं   सगंध फसलों की खेती कर रहे थे। जिनमें औषधीय फसल बच भी शामिल थी। एक समय तो बच की   खेती में उत्पादन और क्षेत्रो  के आधार पर वे अग्रणी बच उत्पादकों में से थे।   उन्होंने अपने सा...
