काँटे ही काँटे है पारम्परिक चिकित्सकीय ज्ञान के दस्तावेजीकरण मे : भाग –पाँच

कभी-कभी मुझे लगता है कि इस दस्तावेजीकरण का बीडा उठाकर मैने आफत मोल ले ली है। मेरे इस कार्य की विराटता को देखते हुये मेरे एक पुलिस अधिकारी मित्र कहते है कि मुझे तुरंत ही सुरक्षा मांग लेनी चाहिये। पर मुझे लगता है अपनो के बीच इसकी क्या जरूरत है। जब तक सम्भव है इससे परहेज ही किया जाये। मुझसे ज्ञान उगलवाने के ढेरो प्रयास चलते रहते है। लोगो को पता है कि मै छात्रो की मदद के लिये तैयार रहता हूँ। इसलिये बडी कम्पनी के लोग छात्र का रूप धरकर ई-मेल भेजते है, फोन करते है। कई तरह के बहाने बनाते है कि कैसे भी जानकारी मिल जाये। जब हार जाते है तो गालियाँ देते है। धमकाते भी है। मै कृषि के लिये सलाहकार का काम करता हूँ जीवीकोपार्जन के लिये। इसके लिये देश भर मे मुझे बुलाया जाता है। कई बार तो किसान बनकर बडी कम्पनियो के लोग बुला लेते है और फिर लन्दन वाले किस्से की पुनरावृत्ति होती है। उनका यह डायलाग जरूर होता है कि इतना सब करने के बाद क्या मिला। हमारे साथ जुडोगे तो रातोरात अमीर बन जाओगे। जब मेरे विषय के भाई लोग मुझ पर तरह-तरह के आरोप लगाते है तो मन दुखी हो जाता है। लगता है कि सब कुछ छोडकर कन्ही बाहर चला जाऊँ और आम आदमी की तरह रहूँ। क्या मतलब है इस तरह के संघर्ष का पर दूसरे ही पल लगता है कि जब इतने आगे बढ गये है तो अब इसमे ही बढा जाये और भाई लोगो को सीधे जवाब दिया जाये। छात्रो को मै लिखता हूँ कि एक पत्र अपने गाइड से लिखवा ले तब ही मै मदद कर पाऊँगा। जिस मेल पर शक होता है उनसे कहता हूँ कि जैव-विविधता बोर्ड से अनुमति ले ले तभी मै बता पाऊँगा। बहुत सी कम्पनी पारम्परिक चिकित्सको को लाभ का अंश देने की बात करती है पर निश्चित दिशा-निर्देश न होने के कारण मै कुछ कर नही पाता हूँ। बहुत बार तो मेरे कार्य से चिढने वाले भी परीक्षा लेने के लिये ज्ञान माँगते है। वे एक गल्ती के इंतजार मे रहते है। आप ही बताइये मुफ्त के इस काम मे कोई कितना झेले। मै अक्सर झुंझला जाता हूँ। कुछ समय पहले एक मेल मिला कि मै शोध छात्रा हूँ और मुझे अगले हफ्ते अमेरिका मे एक सम्मेलन मे शोध-पत्र पढना है। पर मेरा कम्प्यूटर खराब हो गया है। सारी जानकारी उसी मे है इसलिये प्लीज आप सर्पगन्धा के दस-बारह नुस्खे स्लाइड के रूप मे भेजे। आप समझ ही सकते है इस मेल का उद्देश्य। मैने जवाब नही दिया। उनका फोन आ गया और मेरी माताजी से बडी मासूमियत से मदद की अपील की गई। काफी दिनो तक फोन आते रहे फिर जब पुलिस रपट की बात कही गई तो फोन बन्द हुये। बहुत से फोन बडे अभद्र होते है “तू क्या समझता है अपने को, क्यो नही बताता फार्मूला?। “ अब आप ही बताए कैसे निपटे इससे? क्या मेरी सुरक्षा की जिम्मेदारी इस देश की नही है? अब तो मधुमेह पर लिखना आरम्भ किया है फिर कैसर पर लिखना है। परेशानी तो बढने ही वाली है।

मै एक वन अधिकारी की बात का भी खुलासा करना चाहूँगा। वे मेरे कार्यो के प्रशंसक रहे है। समय-समय पर अपने भाषणो मे भी वे मेरे कार्य का उल्लेख करते है पर जब भी अवसर पाते है उन पारम्परिक नुस्खो की चर्चा छेड देते है जो यौन शक्ति बढाते है। मै बचने की कोशिश करता हूँ तो उनके फोन आने शुरू हो जाते है। आप मानेगे नही पर पिछले पाँच वर्षो से वे पीछे पडे है और मै टाल रहा हूँ। बडे स्तर के वैज्ञानिक और अफसर साधारण बातचीत मे काफी कुछ उगलवाने का दम रखते है। यही कारण है कि मैने विज्ञान सम्मेलनो से तौबा कर ली है। जाता हूँ भी तो कम समय के लिये। निज मुलाकात की इतनी मोटी फीस रख ली है कि कोई आता ही नही। पर इतना अधिक बन्धन बहुत पीडादायक है।

जब मैने रूद्राक्ष पर आलेख लिखा तो बिना किसी देरी के इंटरनेट पर रूद्राक्ष का धन्धा करने वालो ने इसे अपनी साइट पर डाल दिया। जब बाटेनिकल डाट काम ने उन्हे हडकाया तो मेरा नाम भी लिख दिया। अभी भी वह लेख वहाँ है। अब आम लोग उसे पढकर रूद्राक्ष ले लेते है। रूद्राक्ष के नाम पर दसो उत्पाद बाजार मे है। बिना किसी आधार पर कोई तेल बना रहा है तो कोई बुढापा रोकने की दवा। करोडो का चूना लगाया जा रहा है। इस पर कोई अंकुश नही लगाता। उल्टे बहुत से लोग मुझे फोन करते है कि आपके लेख से हमने रूद्राक्ष खरीदा पर हमे लाभ नही मिला। पर मैने तो चमत्कारिक तेल के बारे मे नही लिखा। आपने मुझसे पहले क्यो नही पूछा? तो उनके पास कोई जवाब नही होता है। रूद्राक्ष पर हमारे पारम्परिक ज्ञान का व्यवसायिक उपयोग चन्द लोग कर रहे है। उन्हे आय का बडा हिस्सा पारम्परिक चिकित्सको को देना चाहिये। जिस प्रकोष्ठ की बात मैंने पहले की है उसके गठन से निश्चित ही हम यह लडाई खुले तौर पर लड पायेंगे। यही बात च्यवनप्राश जैसे आम उत्पादो के लिये भी लागू होनी चाहिये। जिस तरह खाडी देशो मे तेल से प्राप्त आय मे हर नागरिक का हिस्सा होता है उसी तरह भारतीय पारम्परिक ज्ञान के प्रयोग से जो भी उत्पाद बने उससे होने वाली कमाई पर सभी भारतीयो का हक होना चाहिये। क्या कहना है आपका?
