FlowerMonoecious, in lax, erect, elongate, axillary spikes, maes minute, clustered near the summit of spike; females scattered 3-5 surrounded by a large leafy bract.Indlorescence axillary, solitary or germinate; spikes 1-2 cm long with 7-10 female flwoers at base and a few, sessile, minute males at apex.
FruitCapsule, small, hispid, one-seeded.-
SeedOvoid, smooth, pale brown, about one mm long, very closely and minutely pitted.Ovoid, very minutely pitted.
